Jacksonville, NC

June 21 – 24, 2018

Reunions are a great time to renew old friendships and make new ones. This year’s reunion return to Jacksonville, Camp Lejeune, and Onslow Beach, flashes us back to memories of past exploits and gives us the rare opportunity to build new ones with family, friends and with the active duty personnel from today’s Battalion. All past and present 2D Recon personnel are welcome to attend – Marines and Sailors, all MOSs, active duty, retired or separated, Association members, non-members, family and friends.

Activities and Agenda
Activities will include evening socials and beer by the pool, golf or fishing for those who desire, a day at the beach, a sumptuous Association banquet and, best of all, a day with the Battalion.

Major timeline of events still being developed:

Friday, 22 June: At the Battalion for an Award Ceremony, a Wreath Laying at the memorial, and a Barbecue Lunch with Battalion personnel, as well as a Static Equipment Display. Other associated activities may be included, depending on Battalion training and work requirements that may allow.

Saturday, 23 June: Association Dinner at the Ball Center (Bldg 425 on McHugh Blvd) on Mainside, Camp Lejeune, NC.
Please plan to join us.

Base Access Info for Non DOD CAC or Non Military ID Card Holders (if you are not Active Duty, Military Retiree, etc.) – MUST READ!!

For those reunion attendees (and their guests) not having a DOD CAC or Military ID Card, they will need to provide specific personal information, either via the online reunion registration or with the reunion registration hard copy form.

Your information will be included on the master “MCB Camp Lejeune Request For VIP/Special Passes” form that will be submitted by the 2d Recon Bn Representative to the PMO on 25 May 2018.

FAILURE to adequately and completely provide the requested information will prevent you and your guests from attending activities hosted aboard MCB Camp Lejeune – that includes the activities at the Battalion and the Association Dinner!
